OUR TERMS OF SERVICE AND CUSTOMER GUARANTEE
If your order is placed, paid for, and there are no problems or technical issues with the uploaded file, before noon Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, your order will be dropped off at your University’s Central Receiving before 12 noon on the next business day, unless other verbal or written arrangements have been made between ConferencePosters.ca and the customer who assumes responsibility for placing the order. Currently we are delivering to the University of Waterloo, and Wilfred Laurier.
All posters are delivered directly to your University’s Receiving Department, at either the University of Waterloo or Wilfred Laurier main campus. We will also try to accommodate requests for rush pick-up orders, provided that workflow allows us to print your order in time. In general, rush pick-up orders will be available at 10am the next day, unless an alternate arrangement is confirmed with ConferencePosters.ca. Additional charges may apply.
Internal Delivery Failure
You are fully responsible for calculating the correct delivery schedule that will best accommodate your presentation date. Remember that there can be delays in the processing and transport of goods on campus after they are received, and these are beyond the control of ConferencePosters.ca. If you do not receive your poster within 48 hours of the or drop off time, please contact your receiving department to confirm receipt and initiate tracking of your poster. If they are unable to help you, please contact us, and we will work to help you resolve the issue as best as we can.
Posters can be damaged by moisture and mechanical stress, and therefore must be properly packaged for transport. We recommend that, at a minimum, you select a cardboard tube as packaging for your poster if you are having it delivered on campus. If you do not select a protective package and, instead, you choose to have your poster shipped to campus in a plastic bag, then we cannot be held responsible for damages occurring during transport by your on-campus delivery personnel. However, if you select a protective cardboard or plastic tube for shipping, and your poster does become damaged during delivery, your order will be re-printed and re-sent at no additional cost to you, as long as we are notified within 48 hours of the campus drop off time. We may require pictures of the damage so we can claim costs.
We will perform a free courtesy design and layout check on your poster(s), and will look for image quality issues and offer our suggestions if needed. However, we do not assume responsibility for any layout, color, spelling, font, text, design, or other errors that exist in your document.
We Only Accept PDF Files
A PDF file has the ability to exist independently from the hardware, software and operating system (OS) used to create or view the PDF document, and helps to avoid program communication problems. We consider the PDF file that you send us to be the final proof of your work. You are fully responsible for reviewing your file before sending it to us to ensure there are no errors of any kind. No refunds or reprints will be offered if an error is found in the printed document that also exists on the original PDF image submitted for printing. If printing errors appear in the poster that were not present in the proof, then we will work to correct those errors and will reprint your poster at no charge.
Poster Sizing Errors
We will check your poster(s) for any sizing or proportion errors and offer possible solutions. If we cannot reach you by phone or email in order to resolve a sizing issue, your poster will be scaled to fit within the poster size you ordered.
Our Printing Error
In the unlikely event there is an error on our part, your poster will be reprinted immediately and resent at no charge.
Poly Bags & Shipping Tubes
The standard packaging for our paper posters is a full-length poly bag, which will offer some protection from moisture, but will not protect against mechanical damage. This packaging is suitable for paper posters that are picked-up in person, and transported with care over a short distance only. We strongly recommend that you transfer your poster shortly after receipt to a protective container made of fibre-board or plastic for further transport. If you do not have a protective container for your paper poster, we offer additional solutions for purchase, including a corrugated shipping tube.
Canceled orders will be charged at a pro-rated level to account for all labor and materials completed and used, up to the point of cancellation.
The purchaser is fully responsible for obeying copyright laws in Canada and in any countries where the poster will be displayed. This includes obtaining permission from the copyright holder to reproduce copyrighted work. ConferencePosters.ca will not violate federal copyright laws. By submitting your artwork to us, physically or electronically, you agree to release us and hold us harmless from any claims, actions, or liability resulting from our reproduction of any artwork you supply to us. We will not share your work or files with anyone, although we may from time to ask to display your poster in on website gallery. If this is the case, we will ask for written consent before doing so.
We collect your information when you place an order or request a quote. We may send you an email to confirm that your order has been received, and when your order has been dropped off, or if we need to contact you concerning your order or to answer any questions you may have.
We do not share your email address or any other contact information with anyone else. If you agree, we may from time to time send you emails about special promotions or new products offered by ConferencePosters.ca. We promise not to pester you, and you can opt out of our emails at any time. To do so, please email us or call the following telephone number: 1-519-342-6415
Although we will do our absolute best to ensure that your experience with our poster printing service exceeds all expectations, we will not be held responsible for any personal, professional, financial, or other losses or damages that you may incur as a result of any action or inaction by ConferencePosters.ca.
