Damaged Delivery

Although it is rare, Posters can be damaged by moisture and mechanical stress, and therefore must be properly packaged for transport. We recommend that, at a minimum, you select a cardboard tube as packaging for your poster when it is being shipped. If you do not select a protective package, then we cannot be held responsible for damages occurring during transport. However, if you select a protective cardboard for shipping, and your poster does become damaged during delivery, your order will be re-printed and re-sent at no additional cost to you. We may require pictures of the damage so we can claim costs.

Courtesy review

We will perform a free courtesy design and layout check on your poster(s), and will look for image quality issues and offer our suggestions if needed. However, we do not assume responsibility for any layout, color, spelling, font, text, design, or other errors that exist in your document.

We Only Accept PDF Files

A PDF file has the ability to exist independently from the hardware, software and operating system (OS) used to create or view the PDF document and helps to avoid program communication problems. We consider the PDF file that you send us to be the final proof of your work. You are fully responsible for reviewing your file before sending it to us to ensure there are no errors of any kind. No refunds or reprints will be offered if an error is found in the printed document that also exists on the original PDF image submitted for printing. If printing errors appear in the poster that were not present in the proof, then we will work to correct those errors and will reprint your poster at no charge.

Poster Sizing Errors

We will check your poster(s) for any sizing or proportion errors and offer possible solutions. If we cannot reach you by phone or email in order to resolve a sizing issue, your poster will be scaled to fit within the poster size you ordered.

Our Printing Error

In the unlikely event there is an error on our part, your poster will be reprinted immediately and resent at no charge.

Poly Bags & Shipping Tubes

The standard packaging for our paper posters is a full-length poly bag, which will offer some protection from moisture, but will not protect against mechanical damage. This packaging is suitable for paper posters that are picked-up in person, or dropped off to the University of Waterloo, Wilfred Laurier, and the PI only. We strongly recommend that you
transfer your poster shortly after receipt to a protective container made of fibre-board or plastic for further transport. If you do not have a protective container for your paper poster, we offer corrugated shipping tubes for purchase,
